The Bundle of Hope CCE Foundation, organisers of the GLOWFUX Charity Concert, an annual yuletide gathering of people from different orphanage homes across Lagos State and families to celebrate, support and show care for those in need, has rolled out drums to celebrate ten years of supporting every child and service to humanity.

According to Project Lead of GLOWFUX, Mr. Olubode Mac Oserinde, the celebration is more of charting another sustainable course for more years of continuous support and caring for humanity.

He said at the media unveil of GLOWFUX at 10, held recently at Oshodi Art Gallery, Kasoleri, Ikorodu, on August 15th. The venue for the 10th anniversary celebration scheduled for December 28th, 2026, was also unveiled as the ultra -modern Ikorodu Town Hall, Ikorodu.

Activities for the celebration were also announced to include media visitation, theme song challenge and novelty match.

The GLOWFUX team lead also announced opening of registration portal for attendance for individuals, families and groups interested to attend the celebration via https://tickethub.ng/glowfux-10-anniversary-6165617.

“Ten years ago, GLOWFUX began with something very simple – a desire to see fewer tears and more smiles on the faces of children and young people whose circumstances had denied them some of the joys and experiences many of us often take for granted.

“We did not know how far that little seed would travel. Today, we can look back and say: the journey has been worth it.”

“Behind these ten years are thousands of children and young people who have smiled, homes that have received support, families and caregivers that have felt remembered, volunteers who have given their time, partners who have opened their hearts, and countless individuals who chose to give because they believed that someone else’s life could be better because of them.”

The GLOWFUX team lead emphasised that creating positive memories and supporting children and young people in need of care remains the central focus of GLOWFUX.

“But GLOWFUX is not simply about giving items or providing assistance. At its heart, GLOWFUX is about creating memories, restoring hope and giving children and young people in organised needy homes an experience that reminds them that they matter.

“From orphanages and rehabilitation centres, to shelters for children living on the streets, homes for children who have experienced abuse, and facilities caring for young people living with physical challenges, GLOWFUX seeks to bring the warmth, excitement and joy of an unusual end-of-year celebration to those who may otherwise be left out of such experiences.”

“For one special day, we want them to laugh freely. To play. To dance. To receive. To feel celebrated. And, perhaps most importantly, to know that somebody cares.

“That is why GLOWFUX has continued. Because somewhere tonight, a child is still waiting for someone to care. Somewhere, a home is still hoping for support. Somewhere, a young person needs to know that they have not been forgotten. And that is why we are here,” he said.

Opening up the anniversary celebration to members of the press, GLOWFUX ambassadors, partnering brands and other stakeholders, reiterated the commitment of the initiative organisers to sustain the momentum and continually make every child and young people happy and smiling.

“As we unveil GLOWFUX @ 10, we are not just unveiling an anniversary. We are unveiling the next chapter of a movement built on love, giving and humanity – a movement that believes that every child deserves moments worth remembering and every young person deserves to experience the dignity of being celebrated.”

“Ten years have taught us something: impact is rarely the work of one person. It happens when a donor says, “I will give”; When a volunteer says, “I will serve”; When a partner says, “I will stand with you” ; When the press media say, “We will tell this story” and when an ordinary individual decides, “I can make someone smile.”

“That is the power of GLOWFUX,” he stressed.

Assuring children and young people in orphanage homes that the celebration is all about them, Mr Oserinde urged media houses, partners and supporters of the GLOWFUX initiatives to continue to give support and partner the organisers to succeed.

“And to every child and young person whose smile has become part of the GLOWFUX story over these ten years – this celebration is yours.

“Ten years behind us. A greater journey ahead. This is GLOWFUX @ 10. And the best of the story is still waiting to be written.

“Thank you, and my God bless every heart that continues to choose humanity.”
